Lone Pine Recurves

I got a Lone Pine recurve by Bill Bonczek.Need to replace the string.I have an Elk River fast flight string I would like to put on.How do you tell if a fast flight will work.Thanks,Leon

I believe, not for sure though, you will be fast flight capable if you have some nice thick tip overlays.

Don't do it....Bill's bows were built for Dacron...I've had three....
He lives about 45min. from me and built a nice bow. Good guy too,wish he still built them. Got a pic? Might know the bow.....

Thanks Guru,I am glad I asked.The tips arent that thick.I put the string on yesterday and was getting ready to take it out back.Glad I didnt.Got the bow from someone off this site,I will post a pic tonite after work.Thanks again,Leon
