Who else pulls the string to where it is touching your chest?

I cant my bow, the bowstring touches my chest on every shot, Hill style.  When one is wide at the shoulders and shoots with a bent bow arm or just has short arms, it can happen in a canted position.  Bean pole straight form is about as not ergonomic as shooting a bow can get, but it does put the bowstring out in front so it won't contact the shirt.
