I haven't used veneers but a bow back I had a lam pop at the scarf line during a dry run so I increased my joint length now I don't think there will be a issue now, when I finish this 58" I will make another with the parallels not much time this time of year I may just order the lams from Kenny so I can get it out faster or have him make me a parallel S/L sled !

What do you join them with , CA? I thought with most veneers only being around .0015 there wouldn’t be much surface area in the scarf. My full length veneers are actually just s lam in size ie, say 065 along with couple of ‘boo lams

With my belly up form I do it opposite of you I do 2 lams back & the super/lam on the belly if I have small imperfections on the riser the 2 lams together snug it up , I'm working on getting the parallel super/lam together hoping to get the short riser glued up this week end !
