First batch of woodies
« on: April 08, 2008, 11:39:00 AM »
This was my first try at building wooden arrows. I used 23/64 36" poplar shafts, and cut them down to about 34". After attempting to do the cresting with nothin but masking tape and a brush, I have a new respect for all you guys with the fancy cresting up and down the shaft.    :p
All in all it took about 4 days to finish em, was fun and I'll be making more soon.    :D
Thanks to everyone that answered some questions on my post about a month ago, and a special thanks to Gingivitis Kahn and Longstiks.

Now you're hooked B4! You just can't make one batch...believe me!  Good job!

Masking tape and a brush? I have moved up (or down) to masking tape and Sharpies!  :D   Nice job, it's sweet shooting your own arrows!

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Very nice.  Light years better than my first ones.. or seconds, thirds and fourths and fifths.. well than most any I have made.  You did a good job.

Thanks for sharing
