Rotational draw question? Arne?
« on: October 10, 2019, 10:26:59 AM »
I watched Arne’s Rotational draw video and I don’t understand the bow arm / bow position clearly. You bring the bow arm up in the vertical target line but due to the string hand position, is the arrow pointed left of the target line? If so does the bow move in the bow hand as rotation occurs? Is it wrist movement? I’m stuck. Thank you.

Yes, bow hand stays ON TARGET, bow moves IN THE HAND, NOT the wrist.  Wrist is pointed with the bow hand to target.  Yes, the arrow starts out to the left of the target (BUT NOT THE HAND!) and then with the drawing hand moving IN towards the face, the arrow and consequently the bow will align to target.

Bow arm and bow hand stay static and on target.  The drawing motion of the string arm/shoulder turns the bow AND arrow into alignment.

Thank you Arne. Are you starting to get that weather that we’re supposed to get Saturday. They said the 4- letter word that’s white! For Saturday.
