Article at Life Magazine on Fred Bear Bowhunt
« on: April 09, 2008, 02:03:00 AM »
According to Fred Bear's Field Notes in 1963 a team from Life magazine accompanied Fred Bear and his friends on a bowhunting trip at the Kispiox River area.

Does anyone have access to this article that must have been issued in Life magazine late in 1963?

A few years ago I tried to get it from the magazine makers but they asked for the exact issue. But unfortunately I don't know, when it was issued exactly.

BINGO! Thank you for posting.

Does anyone have this particular issue and can make a scan of it and post it here or send it by email? In Germany it's hard to get a hand on old issues of LIFE magazine.

It actually IS on the big auction site. But unfortunately the seller only sells within the US.
Probably one of you would like to buy it and then do the favor to all of us and make a scan of the article   ;)

Or go to a library and find it in the stacks. That should not be hard for the intrepid bookman!
