Different options for posting pictures
« on: September 05, 2019, 08:05:51 AM »
I currently use photbucket and its challenging to say the least. I’m looking for other options to post pictures here on Tradgang. What do you all use?

I post photos directly from my computer, after resizing them so they will work for Tradgang (which seems to work okay as long as the photo is less than 1 mb).

If using a phone, download the Tapatalk app. Posting pics from a phone is a breeze using Tapatalk.

If using a computer, I do as McDave says, only I have not had to resize mine to post them in my computer.

I take a pic with my phone crop it and post it super simple. I would like to learn the computer thing and resize them because i have to get such a close up when cropping them.

Since the photobucket debacle I first switched to IMGUR which is far superior to photobucket then to downloading from my computer.

Fortunately all the websites switched to their own photo sharing software after photobucket screwed everyone. It is so easy to download from ones computer I only use the other services when I can't find a picture on my computer and know I have it stored on one of the other sites.

When I bought a new computer the tec transferred one of my old picture files to my new computer and I lost some of my pictures. I had already put a pickax through my old hard drive when I found this out so recovery wasn't an option.

I do what McDave said.  Easy as pie.
