Out on a limb Lil Ambush Stand?
« on: October 10, 2019, 07:38:44 AM »
Anybody have one or even seen one?  Claims to be the lightest loc on on the market at 6.5lbs.  Im looking for a super light system for just getting 10-12 feet up for bear hunting in the mtns. Lots of my spots are a LONG way above the truck so weight is way more impt than comfort.

I'm not familiar with that stand but have you considered a saddle?  That would be your lightest option.  Aero Kestrel has one that weighs 1 lb. 8 oz..  Combine that with 8 or 9 aluminum strap on steps and your whole rig would probably be less than 4 lbs..

I have been shooting my 64" longbow out of mine just fine.
