I kind o figured that they were good bows, but for some reason I havn't seen any around or heard very much about them, around here anyway. Thanks for your input.

I have a 52" Golden Hawk Mag and a 58" Whitetail Hawk.  Nice shooters.  The Golden Hawk Mag, for me anyway, shoots tighter groups than other mag-length bows.  I think it is because of the thumb rest which aids in consistant grip.  The Whitetail Hawk is similar to a Chek-mate Hunter-I.

I own 2 52" Golden Hawk Magnums...one was my primary hunting bow this past season, and I own about 14 custom bows.  They are not the fastest bows, but for their length, they are pretty forgiving.

I've bveen shooting Cascades on and off for about 15 years and have always had one in the stable. My favorite is the 48" GoldenHawk Mag followed by the 52". They are great pointers and extremly quiet.

fellas, I don't believe Steve makes bows.
You might want to ask LBR about it.
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

They are actually Checkmate bows and Steve makes them look really, really nice.
