Killed on a construction site, moving some lumber to keep it from gettin wet. Fliped over a sheet of plywood and there it lay. One good whack from a shovel did it good

That's a huge copperhead. Haven't seen any snakes yet this year here in GA, but seen my first lizard today, so the reptiles are crawling...

North isnt all that safe Dino...we have rattlers and copperheads here in NY.(Two types of rattlers even!)A guy got bit by a copperhead last year at one of my trout spots.
That is a rather large copperhead though...nice skin for sure.

I'm with Rawhide and Orion....you can have those damn things...but if you need a bow to put them on after they're dead.....I might have one I could volunteer.

Dang Jamie, didn't know you had copperheads over there.  I live in northern Indiana near the Michigan boarder.  The only rattler we have up here is the Massasauga Rattler.  It is reclusive, darn near impossible to find, harder yet to get bitten by, and don't even think they get large enough to back anything other than a kids bow with.  In 30 years of trompin wood around here I've never seen one in the wild.  Don't mind keepin' it that way either.  I can deal with all the other ones.   :D
