Adding some Bling

I normally never add overlays or in this case tip reinforcements. But I'm making this Bow for a guy I know who is a Bass player and thought he might appreciate the fancy accents. I've used Mother of Pearl before as arrow pass plate, but not on the tips. I'm hoping it holds up. I think it should, it's hard as hell!

That’s nice! I’ve thought of using mother of pearl before. I especially like the tips.

Thanks guy's. Dave, you should try it. I bet it would look sweet on one of your blackened bows.
I actually did one with a guitar pick. It's a lot of tedious work inlaying those tiny pieces. You sure hope the recipient likes it!

You must be shipping that bow down under or you were holding the camera upside down.

No, I'm a hillbilly from the Rockies. Been down under twice though and loved the place! I would go again in a heartbeat.
