Missouri Hog hunting

I checked the posting and only found old info, so where are good areas in Missouri to hog hunt. I live in Olathe, KS and have a few co-workers that are interested in going.

Have you looked into Fort Leonard Wood? I've never heard of anyone having any consistant success finding hogs in Missouri. You will probably have better luck in Oklahoma.

Ricky, A couple of buddies and I are looking into the whole Ft. Leonard Wood thing here. It will be a bit but if we have any luck finding them I'll post it here. In the interim I have been considering saving up and going to the Shiloh ranch in Oklahoma. It's not nearly as far as the Texas trip I just took. Mark

There's a whole bunch of them over in Texas County just west of Licking, MO. My cousin kills them with a bow and rifle all the time.

You can also get a list from the US forestry department. There is one in Salem Mo, they will also have a map of there sections in which hogs have been seen.

I have hunted ft. wood alot and have only seen one hog there and he was getting it. That is the only hog I have ever seen in MO...If you can swing it I would head south to shiloh.. lots of fun. .

As I understand it Fish and Game have been extensively eradicating hogs in Missouri. I wouldn't spend a nickel there.
