getting rid of nock high
«

I am having fits trying to get rid of the nock high in my arrows. makes tuning a real PITA....I shoot split finger and always seem to have this problem. Thinking about switching to 3 under, although I don't care to. I use one knocking point above the arrow nock. Any suggestions from anyone. I had to resort to a feather rest and a brush rest on my other two bows. I'm ready to pull out what little hair I have left.

How high are you nocking now? You could be nocking too high, and the arrow may be retaining that orientation a good way down range, or you may be nocking too low and the rear of the arrow could be bouncing off the shelf.

Right now I'm shooting 1/2" high. I've been trying heights even to extremes both high and low. Was thinking to much finger pressure above arrow could be the culprit. If it is, not sure how to remedy short of switching to 3 under

I fight to he same thing and shoot split also
Most all my bows shoot a level arrow to shoot a bare shaft straight with no nock high

try changing the way u hold the string...sometimes shooting closer to the finger tips will help
hope that makes sense

If all else fails try raising your brace height about 1/4 inch. Worked for me,

What if you took your bottom string silencer and moved it closer to the nock and your top string silencer and moved it towards the limb more. This should change limb timing a bit to get your nock more level from being nock high. Worked for me. I always use 2 nocks on the string

Try 2 nocks, then start adjustments. I had string slide on my arrow nock.

2 nock points, On these more modern strings they are much more skinny the nock tends to slide down the string on release whether you shoot 3 under or split. More people have this issue than they realize.

Ok, I will give the 2 nock thing a try. How much space between arrow nock and nocking point should I leave ??

2 nocks. split finger, just touching so it depends on your nocks.3 under you will need a little play, not much or it will still slide down.

Maybe elbow to high on the draw hand making you push down on the arrow nock with split finger release.

Def 2 nocking points. I'd go down to 3/8s nock height and adjust from there. Just me personally I like a pinch of nock height in my flight.
