2 Fletch vs. Others
« on: January 15, 2020, 10:21:59 AM »
Would like opinions on results found from using 2 fletch vs. 3 or 4.  I have read some of those that are using this set up but wondered, is this just personal preference or are there real advantages to this set up.   I have shot small feather in a 3 fletch set up and have played with 2 4" fletch.  Flight is good, handles the broadhead well but my three fletch set up is lighter on the back of the arrow vs. the 2 fletch.  Let me know any observations those that have tried noticed.
thanks

have been shooting 2 fletch for several years now  5.5 inch with heavy helical  15 % offset  for me they carry better in the back quiver with less noise  for me shoot identical to the 3 fletch  with both field and broad heads  I think its what a shooter gets used to and is comfortable with

All boils down to how much resistance you need to achieve recovery from paradox, lots of ways to skin a cat.

Jim Neaves has a video floating around some where. There were some good points to it as far as ease of fletching goes too.
