Help with arrow spine for new Centaur longbow

Hi guys, need arrow help again. I just bought a new to me Centaur triple carbon elite. 62" 51# @ 29". I draw 30" so I'm thinking it will be about 54#. Was thinking a 400 spine shaft with a 100 gr insert and a 125 gr broadhead about 32" long. Might need to be a little shorter. I'm not that experienced with long bows, I've had two and liked them but didnt know about matching arrows to them. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance...Gary

I had a centaur chimera that was 52 at my 30" draw. It ended up tuning with a full length 340 spine with a 100 grain brass insert amd a 200 grain point. Id say with a 125 grain head the 400 should be close or perhaps a touch weak. Definitely a good starting point!

Have owned three Triple Carbon Elites. All had a full dark matter riser section. The shelves are cut 1/8th inch past center which happen to be cut further past center than the wooden riser section, thus requiring a stiffer shaft.

Gave Jim from Centaur a call, he advised me to go to a 340 shaft and I should be real close. Thanks to everyone who responded....Gary

Hi,
My experience with the four different Centaurs I’ve owned (2 triple carbons and 2 chimeras). Have been stiff with 340 spine and just right with 400 @ 30.5” long drawn to 29” with regular insert and 175 grain points.
My two chimeras are 52 and 54 lbs at my 29” draw. The triples are a little faster (more energy) but I fed them the same arrow configuration.
The 340 and 400 spine appeared to fly the same fletched, but bare shaft testing always showed stiff (340) in my case. You’re may vary.

I ordered some 340s to try as I have plenty of 400s on hand, think I'll have to play around with tip weight for sure
