Oxnard CA hunting
«

Does anyone know anything about hunting in the Oxnard CA area this time of year. We are taking a family trip in the middle of Feb and i'm looking for a good reason to pack my new longbow. It looks like jackrabbits is the only open season (besides bighorn sheep but I think that would warrant more planning). Any help is appreciated!

Pig hunting season in California is all year. The furthest south I have hunted pigs in California is the Tejon Ranch near where highways 5 and 99 meet. I don't think Tejon Ranch itself is open for pig hunting all year, but you can check on line and find out. There are many other pig hunting opportunities available on private land, and a few on public land in the coastal areas north of Oxnard.
