I havent shot one or seen one in person but was in a final day decision to buy one when i lucked out and found a good deal on a great northern. The stygian looks like a good price on a bow that puts you spec wise in between a bear grizzly and kodiak mag but at half the price.

Its a shame that most factory bows stop at 55#.

For quiet some time, I have been looking at ordering one of the Helms Deep or Lil Favorite short recurves. But after seeing this little bow recently, I broke down yesterday and ordered a LH 50#'r from the folks at 3R.  Looking forward to trying it out.
