Timber Ghost bows
« on: March 04, 2020, 08:36:18 PM »
Hi, does anyone have experience with these ? They look like they are a quality bow and I do like the riser configuration. had emailed the bowyer a few times and was going to order one but I could never reach him. I left numerous phone messages and emails and never heard back. Is he now out of business ?   Gary

I think I remember him some health issues a few years back, thought might have been the case now. Wish I would have been able to try one out. I'm sure I'll be in the market after my Shrew Siberian tiger shows up.

Just texted Kent to let him know that you have been trying to reach him.

My TG with SS limbs has seen plenty of action. The 60"r strings up to the typical length of a 56" curve.

-Premium speed without any need for exaggeration

-Comfortable, smooth and accurate

-Fine craftsmanship

Hey Gary, yes I’m still building bows on the side and working full time too. Sorry you’ve had trouble getting in touch with me, sometimes I’m not as good as I should be at returning calls. Let me know if you’re still interested in a bow.
Thanks
Kent

I usually leave work around 5:30 in the evening so anytime after that. Could also give me a call at lunch, usually 11:30-12:30 or if you want to shoot me a message or text with your phone number I can give you a call when I get a break.

I don’t usually post on here but I’ll make an exception for Kent. He built me a RH G3SS a couple years ago and it is awesome, it is featured on his website. It is the cocobolo riser Timberghost takedown. After years of fighting the cross eye dominance issue I am switching to LH. Kent is building me a Black Pearl G3 SS with some green and blue giraffe bone accents and I guarantee it ends up on his website as one of the most unique pieces he has produced to date. I saw some pics of it rough shaped last week and it is going to be a looker. If you have not shot one of his Super Static’s you are in for a sweet surprise.

His bows are awesome, don’t let the wait dissuade you. He is working a full time job and turning out pure art that functions at the highest level........:100% worth the wait. Should have mine in a week or so and it is headed to Manitoba for Spring Bear with Ryan at StickFlingers on May 17.........can’t wait.

Thanks for the kind words Kenny. Yes your bow will be one of a kind and should look great once the g10 turns black with finish. Here it is rough shaped.

Looks like I’ll be seeing you at Ryan’s in May. Can’t wait to get back up there.

I finally hooked up with Kent. He is a great guy took all the time needed to answer my questions. Sent down payment on a supercurve with B&W ebony riser. He made the mistake of giving me his cell #...lol

Hey Gary, your next last bow sounds to be a pleaser.  I look forward to slinging some arrows with it
Relax,
