Quick Stick works fine, but as a note, it has a lower melting point than Bohning Ferrel Tite that I have been using to mount glue on broadheads to aluminum adapters. So when heating up the broadhead to make adjustments the Quick Stick often melts first and the insert pops out of the shaft.
Using the same material on inserts and adapters may solve the problem, but IMO the Ferrell Tite forms a much stronger bond between broadhead steel and adapter aluminum than the Quick Stick does.

To each his own, but I’ve used both, and won’t be using any ferrule tite anytime soon. For me Quick Stick has been a much superior glue!!!!!!

X2 Mr. Bisch
Never measure the mountain until you have reached the top, then you will see how low it is.

I started using Quick stick after I read a post form Bisch. I believe it said I don't prep the shafts just glue and have had no issues.
I do clean the inside of the shaft because I cut most my carbon shafts to a desired length. I have had no issues and at times I have flyers that may stick in the tree behind my target. The 60# Toelke Whistler really spits out my 640 grain arrows with authority.
