Friday I received a TimberGhost G3SS Black Pearl. After shooting it I would say this is my dream bow.  The craftsmanship is outstanding. Extremely nice and smooth draw cycle, absolutely dead in the hand and it is noticeable quicker than any other bow I have shot. The grip may be the best of any bow I have owned, very repeatable hand placement with no conscious thought. What probably surprised me the most is how "forgiving" for lack of a better word. For a bow with that kind of performance I was really blown away at how easy this bow was to shoot right out of the gate. I would say it exceeded my expectations in every way.

I already have it.  I had Bob Sarrels make me a 2-piece takedown Sierra with antler tips from a big buck I shot with my 1 piece Sierra.  I no longer want for anymore bows.

I've always kind of wanted one of those elk riser Voodoo bows just because they are so unique but in all honesty I doubt I'd shoot one much over my beloved pair of Sierras.  Those are just "my bows" after owning and shooting hundreds of quality bows over the years.

If I could have the magic bow fairy make me something crazy cool, I guess I'd get Bob to build me a multi limb set BlueRidge SR longbow.  It's a 3 piece takedown based off the Sierra.  I could see maybe having one with 25lb limbs, 40lb limbs (lowest legal hunting weight), 55lb limbs, and some 70lb limbs.  Such a build could have value as a backup takedown when travelling.  Most anything I shoot 55lbs is more than enough for but I can comfortably shoot 75-80lbs so a heavy set wouldn't be wrong, and a 40lb set of limbs to age into, and some 25lb limbs for sheer target work would be fun.  I don't see myself ever wanting to pay for such a build though.

Just starting the process of a dream bow. My daughter is building a bow for her school Ag project for next fall. Dyed and stabilized Blue Buckeye Burl flare with buckeye Burl scales, buckeye veneers with blue dye and accents, pronghorn overlays.
All her ideas , My heart is full!!

Maybe we should get some of her input for on my build.
