Glue Container?

What kind of container is everyone using to mix EA-40 in? For G-2 I use a pastry aluminum bowl but that sure don't work for Smooth-On EA 40. I've used tuna cans before.

i never understood using a tuna fish can for mixing glue, tuna fish cans are small and has too many places where unmixed parts can hide... I have had good luck mixing the 2 parts on red plastic plate from The Grocery store with a bondo spreader cut in half. I know some guys use wood scraps to mix epoxy, I did on my first glass bow and I have a tiny piece of red elm  under the clear glass, I assume it came off the red elm cut off I mixed the smooth on with.  I mix the glue then use the second half of the bondo spreader to apply epoxy, toss everything in the trash when done..

I mix in plastic deli cups similar to flems pic.
Mix using free plastic knives from fast food places.
Spread using a bondo knife, but I’m gonna try a hotel card on the next build.

I dispense my epoxy into cups similar to Flem's just smaller but I then mix it into something else. I just use the cups for measuring the epoxy. I may have to try the 9oz size for mixing.

Use a gram scale to weight out the epoxy. No scraping containers, less mess.

That seems to come from the Bingham instructions going back to the early 90's. 

I use a glossy type of paper plate and mix and spread with a piece of lam cut off.

The measuring cups that come with the large containers of laundry detergent. Let the leftovers harden in the cup and it pops right out so you can re use it several times.

Sushi shops have small plastic cups they use for soy sauce. I bought a whole stac of them. Good for measuring. I usually mix on a flat board of some kind.

 For mixing I like the red plastic plates and 1/2 bondo squeege because the squeege scrapes the epoxy down to the plate so there is no unmixed epoxy hiding in any corner. I use the clean half of the squeege to apply the epoxy to the glass and lams. I like the pressure control and coverage I get with the plastic. `Since I am a hobby builder I don't care if it cost me a  dollar or two extra each build.   I bought a bunch of 3oz and 2oz clear plastic cups for measuring each part. If I can get back to my shop again I plan on trying the Epoxy that Mike is selling, If it works for BW it should work for me too  .

I use the solo cups  they are the best and easiest, being transparent you can see how your mix is going . I fill one cup alittle over half full and the other a little less than half .  I mix my finish in them also, they are handy not just for glue .
