Vermont Traditional Only Shoot July 11-12
« on: June 29, 2020, 06:01:40 PM »

Just wanted to pass on my clubs 3rd Annual Traditional Only shoot at Whistling Arrow in East Montpelier,Vermont that we are having July 11-12. Shoot is open to everyone within Vermont's current covid travel regulations. As far as the shoot is concerned, Its 12 dollars for one day and 20 for two. 5 Dollar for additional rounds through the course. Registration closes at 2 on Saturday and 130 on Sunday. There is some camping available on site, with a bathroom on sight as well. There is a cookshack that runs for lunch Saturday and Sunday. I will be there Friday the 10th in the afternoon, so if you would like to camp feel free to come down Friday afternoon as well. The link below highlights the travel regs. Should be a good time and looking forward to seeing everyone!

I went a couple of years ago, it's a real nice setting, the course is fun (Rinehart targets), and it's very laid back. Couple dozen folks showed up. Nice tenting sites, great burgers if the grill is going!
I hope to get down there again next week. Anyone else around thinking of going?

Did a quick google maps, just over 3 hours and about 160 miles from Albany.

Yes no problem, as long as Albany is within the travel guidelines you should be good to go!!

Was planning on going until I just looked at the map of counties that must quarantine, I guess I'm out unless the map changes by Friday. This was supposed to be the weekend for the Maine Traditional Archers shoot but we cancelled it because of the restrictions.
were it worth the trouble? Huh? What trouble?
