Mule Creek outfitting?
« on: July 12, 2020, 08:48:24 PM »
Has anyone hunted hogs with Mule Creek outfitting? They're a sponsor here and seem like they have a pretty good hunt for the price. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

There has been a Trad Gang hunt for the last two years. I got a hog this year. We all had a good time.

I hunted with them maybe 5 years ago and I'd go back.  Nice dry, warm, bunkhouse with kitchen and shower.  Jacob baits daily and helps track your game.  Hunting was primarily after dark when I went - until you called for pickup.  I missed my only shot but there were 6 hogs and a Javelina taken by others.

I went winter of 2014 and while it was unusually cold that year we still had fairly steady hog action after dark. Solid facility and a HUGE expanse of land to hunt. Very interesting landscape that far west in TX. Almost like hunting on Mars. There were hogs, javies, and jack rabbits. Some of the hogs were quite big. Id love to go back.

I was on the Trad hunt this year for the first time and will be going back again this next year, if that helps. I didn't kill anything but had a good time and met some great guys! Jacob was our guide and host, and will do whatever he can to make sure you enjoy yourself.

Yep.... been there twice.  Great trip both times.  Jacob runs a great camp!
