The bottom line is that your field tipped fletched arrow share the same mark as your BH tipped fletched arrow from close to your ideal maximum effective range.
I personally very the tune of my BH's 10 yards beyond my ideal maximum effective range in the field.
Distinctly recall years ago bare shafting very tight at 20 yards...Put on the ole large snuffer and she would consistently mark 4"s right. Reduced the brace ht by 3/8" then the field tip fletched arrow, the bare shaft and the BH tipped fletched arrow shared the same mark.
I do not know the min distance for bare shaft tuning to count on your BH flying. When I bare shaft tune to 40 yards, I have been able to screw on any BH of the same tip weight and be golden. Olympic guys have bare shaft tuned out to 60 yards and now proclaim that approximately 32 yards is the max then other factors enter into the equation. Perhaps I got away with longer distance due to upper end EFOC arrows. I ,personally, struggle bare shaft tuning at extended distances with lower EFOC arrows.
