RIP Monterey
« on: August 13, 2020, 10:59:18 AM »
NO, I'm not dead!  :)  but i had to re-register and so i I used a longtime screen name of "longcruise" since thats how I'm known pretty much all across the internet except here.  If I can recover the Monterey account I'll happily do so.

This happened because I have to change ISP at the end of the month because my current provider will drop service to my neighborhood on 9-2.  Decided to get a jump on the switch wit forum memberships by shifting all my account emails to a Gmail account.   That's working out fine except here at TG.

When you change your email,  you have to verify it by responding to an email sent to your new email address.   After hitting the "send another email" link four times, no email received!  This is probably because I made a typo when entering the new email address,  so I'm not blaming TG.  However,  when I sent an email requesting help to the linked address under the "help" link it bounced back so I didn't see any other option than to re-register.

This isn't a TG rant,  just an explanation for the members here at my favorite internet destination.

Let's build some bows! :)

Dont have  to  worry about  my fortune. All my money is in my kids and now grandkids.  Not a bad use of it. I'm sure Richie has a ton of dough somewhere.  :)

Trying to get on with a couple lay ups but being cramped in that box in the hearse has got me all stiff.  Maybe this coming week.
