Brace height for Schaffer Silvertip 62"?????

Just bought a Beatuful Silvertip and would like to know if anyone has the recommended brace heights for a 62" model

It is 7.5"s give or take a bit, I shot mine more towards 8"s. 7.5"s is a great starting point. Shawn

I have two 62" STs. The sweet spot on the newer one ('06)is 7 1/2", and on the older one ('99)is 7 5/8". The reason I give the dates is that Dave recommended 7 1/4-7 1/2 for the newer one, and 7 1/2-7 3/4 for the older one. Assume possible design change may account for differences in suggested brace height. As Shawn said, 7 1/2 is a good place to start, regardless.

Thanks I have it at 7.5" abd its shooting great
Will do a penetration test compared to a 70# ACS CX later
It will be interesting, deciding what to take Elk Hunting this fall.

I should add that there is no sweetspot for the 62", you should just pack it up and send it to me and get yourself a 60"er! 8>) The guys above are right on!!
