60" Recurve

Just Gordons .040 UL white and boo flooring and 1 stable-Kore next to the belly glass.
I make sure my form is straight with a long level for a straight edge.
I mark a centerline (very precisely) on the Back glass before glue up.
And most of all, No fear, just go for it.
I'v made about 4 narrow bows that way.
I do think it's a little narrow, maybe 1-3/8" next time

Thanks! Just one more question if I may, what are the dimensions of the core lams and both parallels or one taper? I am going to give it a go!

Mine has a super lam so I can't really tell you that

What I can tell you to help you hit your # you want is.
BJansen has the stack calculator, I PM him and asked about making the width of the limb from 1-1/2" to 1-1/4" and he said 14% less # for 1/4" less width.
SAME STACK THICKNESS
So a 45# 1-1/2" wide----45 X 14% =6.3 # less
So a 1-1/4" wide would be 38.7#---45# - 6.3 =38.7


So going from 1-3/4" to 1-1/4" do it like this.
If you go from 1-3/4" to 1-1/2"--45# x 14% = 6.3# less,  so that would be 38.7#
Now lets go to 1-1/4" wide 38.7 x 14% = 5.418 # less  33.28#
So a 1-3/4" wide 45# bow going to 1-1/4" wide would be 33.28# for the same stack

 Hey Max, I said i'd post some pics when I could, so here's my recent narrow bow build inspired by your bow in this thread altho mine not quite as narrow as yours @ 1 1/4", mine is 1 3/8" and 57" long w/ 50# DW. Haven't started on the finish (just some shellac) but shot it today and I'm liking it. Quick and quiet.

You have more recurve in yours, that shows everybody that stable-kore and making everything on center carefully, you can make a narrow recurve. If you like narrow Recurves, I do

How many arrows have you shot with it?
And the string is staying on?

50 arrows + or - and yes the string stays on! Left the limb edges parallel up to 7” from the tips. Seems real stable. I ran the Stabil Kore between the back and belly lams and behind the riser.
