Trail cam pics that make you say what the heck?
« on: October 16, 2020, 04:23:35 PM »
I have been running cameras for years and it is a great source of enjoyment.  This year I  have two of the strangest pics I have ever seen.  Thought it would make a good thread.  First pic is a little mule deer buck that looks to have had something nasty happen to his head .  Cant even begin to imagine what happened.

Heavy body injuries and cause antler deformation. Looks like he has both.

That looks like the hide is ripped back on that doe.  I saw a young deer with its side ripped open similar to that but not as much.  I was driving at the time.

Greg,   Your doe reminds me of a buck I had pics of for years.  In every pic from behind he had a dirty butt.   So much so we called him dirty butt.  I finally killed him one year and the reason for his dirty hind end was that his tail was broken.  Couldn’t raise his tail when doing his business.  Deer are wonderful critters.
