Poison Dart bows
« on: November 15, 2020, 04:16:34 PM »
So I am back in the game for a new bow. I recently came across Poisin Dart bows. Their 1 piece bows is beautiful, as are so many other bows I have been interested in shooting.

Does anyone have experience shooting one?

Not mine but a friend at the archery clubs.
Very nice shooter that was very quick, nice and smooth.
Came close to trading my TD Longhorn for it; then common sense kicked in.

Poison Darts are awesome! I recently took delivery of a fully loaded 2pc and Buddy knocked it out of the park. One of the smoothest 64" bows I have ever pulled! Quick and quiet. Build quality is absolutely superb. The wait time was about 5 months. Buddy gave me updates and progress pics. He built exactly the bow I asked for. As far as shootability if you have shot a Toelke Whip, Big Jim Buffalo, glass Centaur, or Black Widow PLX the Poison Dart will feel familiar.
52" Texas Recurve
58" Two Tracks Ogemaw
60" Toelke Chinook
62" Tall Tines Stickflinger
64" Big Jim Mountain Monarch
64" Poison Dart LB
66" Wes Wallace Royal

Exactly what Nineworlds said .
I have two , a one piece and a two piece.
Buddy is just a good guy , great to deal with and makes an amazing bows . I have been a Widow PL guy for quite a few years now but these ‘Darts’ are quickly becoming my daily shooters .
Can’t recommend them enough

I have a 2 pc that Buddy built for me that is just perfect all the way around, the tip and riser overlays are done with the antler from my first bow killed elk.  I also have the only 60" Poison Dart ever made (at least it was the last time I checked).  It is the quietest bow I've ever shot.  Unfortunately, I just don't make the time to shoot it so it is on the sale rack at RMSGear.  Buddy's CS and craftmanship are top notch as well as well his design.  Can't go wrong with a Poison Dart.
