Tiller issues

So I mixed up my parallels and put 1 in that is .020 thicker than the rest. Now my tiller is out 3/8 of an inch. I have sanded belly back and both sides of the limb and cannot get it to move. Can anyone give me a solution to this problem.

I would put it on my tillering tree, pull the string from where my middle finger of my string hand will be, and see how the thing balanced. Flip it end for end and try it again. Try it. You might be surprised.

What are the top and bottom limb tiller measurements exactly?

Is the bow a symmetrical or asymmetrical design? Where is the center of the bow in relation to the handle?

This is a Binghams r/d longbow. Center is actually in the middle of the riser. With my tillering string I am 5 inches at my bottom fade and 5 3/8 at the top fade.

A quarter of an inch should not be too hard to get rid of
. How much did you sand and what grit? I have had a lot worse. takes work but can be done.

I have sanded the limb with my orbital sander using 120 grit. I have sanded the sides on my belt sander and nothing moves. I have removed alot of material.

So you are saying one limb is .020 thicker than the other one?? If that is true then you will need to get.020 out. to make them even.
