Ok, guy's I lost Bill Kissner to a prior obligation for the UBI so we need another fella for the trip. Again, this is my 4th trip up, we have always done well here and I'll do my best to make sure you get a chance at a bear. email or IM, I'm looking for 1-3 more adds. This is the best inexpensive bear hunt in North America that I know of. Jump in the waters fine...

Long as I can pull this bow
Long as I can hike the hills and walk among the trees
I keep on trying
My goals are high but I don't care
The fun is in the getting there, it justifies the end
So try, try again

If you were doing on your own(driving)with 15-18mpg probably $1400 all in, spliting gas you would be about $1100-1200. Hunt is 700, lic, 150, gas about $400(I'm guessing) food 100. Tip?

Brian, I wish you were coming too. I hunted with Brian, 4 years ago and killed a nice North Dakota 10 point Whitetail on a hunt he hosted and was looking for hunters on the LW.

If you ever get a chance to hunt with him, you won't be dissapointed at his companionship, and he's good at letting animals live so you can get a shot the next day...lol

You're the best brother.

Yep, my catch & release method. I seem to have perfected it out west!

I managed to draw a WI bear tag, I will be leaning on you for some bear tactics. Of course as long as they dont involve losing my beautiful bow & lifeless carbons   :bigsmyl:

Good luck on the hunt, bring pics to Compton!

How bad are the masqiterrs ?? Will I need a bug suit? What kinda weather ????
You have anyone from Va. that needs to share a ride?
Can I bring my bear back into the states to have it mounted and meat processed or does it need to be tanned before I can bring it across??
Are we all going to chip in on groceries or is it every man for himself???
Is 50# bow legal for bear???
