Bill,
Welcome to the site and here’s a few of my Old 60’s bows . A 1962 Red Wing and a pair of White Wings one “Rosewood” and other with “Wenge” wood riser which I haven’t even seen advertised in the old catalogs .

Bill,
It occurs to me since you are looking for info on Bob Lee, you may wonder why people are replying with their photos and info on Wing bows. Wing was the predecessor of Bob Lee.

I’ve had 2 Bob Lees and they were great bows. Just the handles were not for me. To chunky. But we’re good bows for sure.

I am quite grip sensitive having a small hand. A 5" throat circumference is at the max for me personally. A 4 3/4" throat works great and a 4 1/2" works best for me. My Bob Lee Ultimate has a 4 1/2" circumference.

I use to have thirty-six different bows. I had both production bows and custom bows like Robertson, Schafer, Morrison, Mahaska, to name a few. Then I sold all my non Bear bows and have been shooting Bear bows for the last 20 to 22 years.

I shoot a Bob Lee - along with 3 other production bows and a dozen selfbows. The Bob Lee is the fastest and smoothest shooter of the lot. Very impressed with it.

I guess regular bows. My two favorite are:
A MAX Black Widow 60”
A Tall Tines Stickflinger 62”
I have to say I still can’t get Hill style bows out of my mind.
My wife told me to buy a Northern Mist Ramer 66” for Christmas. It’s not going to make it by Christmas as it’s hung up someplace between Alabama and North Dakota. Can’t wait to try it out.

The Wing History is the main reason for my choice. #3 in the country. That had a lot to do with my choice.
Then Bob is in the Archery Hall of fame twice, I think? Good people on the phone when ordering.
I wish that I could find a L.H any old Wing.
Ordered a new Widow because of the rep. Its all good.

My first Nice bow was a Bear Montana. I have 6 customs. Took me about 20 years to acquire.

Good looking bows Rustyspike. I think the better the bow the less of them you need.

Yea. Don't need any more. Can't afford a new one any way. Have a bunch of supplies to make some new arrows. We had some one come over to clean around the the outside of the house. Man they trashed all my consumables and dip tubes. I rent. Still have around 50 arrows with filed points and a half dozen with broad-heads in a nice arrow box. So I am still setup. I find it hard to hunt in PA compared to SC. Where I used ti live.
