I made this scraper holder many years ago but never liked using it. I like holding the scraper in my hand so I can flex the scraper as needed and so far using a scraper doesn't bother my hands unless I use it for a few hours...which I rarely do.


and these are the scrapers I use. My main scraper I got from Pappy. It is from an old bandsaw blade. It works great, easy to sharpen and flexible enough to bend as needed but not so flimsy as to make it hard to use. Once I hit floor tiller this scraper is about all I use for tillering with the occasional exception of my #49 Nicholson cabinet makers rasp.


I use the gooseneck scraper for dips, etc.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!
