Pics of my hunting setup.

Ok here she is.  My barta bow  58@25lbs-  70@28 shooting 525 grain stalker extremes with 125 grain heads and 100 grain brass inserts.  Not sure of the fps but around 170-175fps.  I had an old selway slide on quiver that I turned into one that can be taken on and off with a screw.

DW-
Nice setup-  What do you think of the Barta bow... as in how do you think it compares to any of the custom, hand-made bows out there? I dig the gray actionwood look- my favorite bow is gray actionwood with black glass.

Thanks guys.   Well, I had a lot of tweaking to get her to where she is now.  I had some problems with accuracy at first, but I played with the brace height to where it is now at 7.5 inches and I just recently added the quiver which added some weight to the riser and makes it more steady in my hand although it might of slowed it down a bit, I'll take that trade off if it'll help me be more accurate.   She's shooting good now.   I like the Barta Bow.  I have never had a custom bow, only bear recurves so I couldn't tell you about that.  But I don't think it's as "pretty" as some of these exotic custom wood bows. It'll kill deer just as nice though.   The guys at 3 rivers told me it is the exact same bow as the popular BushMaster longbow that they discontinued.

I have to Chime in, if the Barta bow is the rebirth of the Bushmaster bow then, it's a great bow. I wish I still had mine. shoots where you look and hits hard.  Hope I get to shoot one to see for myself.  Great hunting setup.....Mark
