Anybody shooting a Bivouac Backland bow? Thoughts? Opinions?
« on: February 14, 2021, 03:14:33 AM »
Who here is shooting a Bivouac Backland(ilf) bow? The bowyer is Jim Belcher. This would be my first ILF bow. The Backland is a 15” riser and I’m considering recurve limbs. My draw length is 28”. Looking for opinions.

Curious to hear about this ......

I was looking for info about them too awhile back but couldn’t find any reviews. What I have heard has all be good. People also say that the backland riser is really well suited to use longbow limbs with too.

Do a search for the DAS DX5 since they are the same riser. May be more people familiar with the 3Rivers riser. I just picked up a DX5 used to try with some DAS longbow limbs since my other ILF risers seem to have too much angle in the pads. Hoping this has less angle for the longbow limbs. Really liking the adjustability of the metal ILF risers so far.
