Tillering-backing-tillering-finishing sequence

Is this the proper sequence? Shape the bow, floor tiller, glue on backing (either skins or rawhide with TB3), final tiller, finish. I’m working with Osage.

Sounds about right. Be sure to exercise the bow well after each wood removal and go slow and steady through the process.
