it has begun...

i have created an arrow flinging monster...  

 this is my 5 year old CYPRESS.... over the past 4-5 months or so, we have started to shoot his little selfbow... our friend max made it for him.. it's really cool... all osage with a rawhide backing, painted camo... it's still a little heavy for him, but he's doing his best... hitting his targets and having a blast...
 

 this kid is a natural... he has watched his big brother and i shoot his whole life... he has picked it up so fast i am amazed... i truly think he is warrior reborn... he is just as at home in the woods, than he is indoors... most of the time barefoot at that...  :D  

 so all in due time until he is trucking along behind us in the woods, be it 3-D shooting, hunting or stump shooting...  he's ready..  :)

Mike, thanks for the pics. If he keeps on going you and his big brother will have to watch out, as he will be giving you guys lessons lol.

That's great you get two hunting partners, and arrow fetchers when you go to 3d shoots.

It could be anything as long as you do it with your kids, makes it realy worth it.
My little one 4years old is looking at veneers for her bow. It will be totally over egineered
but thats what keeps me happy. And hopefully her....
