Changes for Dryad Bows
« on: April 12, 2021, 11:10:12 AM »
Here is the post from South's FB page.  Pretty much tells the story

Another exciting announcement coming from Stalker Stickbows, we have purchased Dryad Bows. During the process of buying A&H Archery, I talked with Mike Westvang and he also expressed interest in retiring. We worked out a deal and now not only will we be bringing Dryad Bows in house, we will have exclusive rights to the ACS limb patent. My two stepsons will be coming on board to help out with the increased workload. Pretty exciting stuff! Now after we rob a few banks next week, Hoyt better watch out for a hostel take over

After 22 years, it was time to move on with our life and South gave us the opportunity.
We will be working with him over the upcoming month or so to insure the transition is as painless as possible for the customers.
We are finishing up some orders that builds had already begun.

It's been a lot of fun working with all of you in traditional archery.  Maybe we will actually be able to go to shoots and shoot.  LOL

Just spoke with Jake at Stalker Stickbows, nice guy.  Last year Mike donated one of his Dryad Longbow limbs to go with a CD Archery Riser, to be raffled off at the Howard Hill Classic.  Well, because of the China Virus, I held on to it for this year.  Hopefully I can can get Jake down here on year.  Mike did a great job and Im sure the tradition will carry on with Jake at Stalker Stickbows.

Mike, Connie and Jason were a fixture at MoJAM for quite a few years. Hopefully we'll see them soon.

Enjoy retirement, if I knew how great retirement can be, I would have done it years ago.

Does John plan to work on the ACS limb with Stalker?  Don’t know if he has been working on any modifications to the limb design.

Best of luck to you Sir!!!!!!

Thanks for ALL your support over the years.  I still remember the hunt you took me on the day prior to going to Solana back the 1st year of TG.... long time ago.

I hope you stick around and continue to contribute, and best of luck to you.  :campfire:

Bon voyage on the next of life's adventures! It is  testament to your work that Dryad bows almost NEVER turn up in the classifieds or auction sites.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

That's true, I've got a Dryad 'Windtalker' , 37#@28". Beautiful bow and perfect for those 3-D shoots. Can't say as I have seen any for sale in the used market. Mike and Jason are true craftsmen and all around good folks.
