Definitely the weather slowed us down.  Biggest factor up here was the vast amount of food available this late.

Thanks!  I hear you.  I've never seen such a heavy blackberry crop in my life.  Nor one to still be going on.  I have a lot of red oak and bur oak on my land.  Outstanding acorn crop this year.  At least we should have more opportunities for deer...

Congrats on a great bear and thanks for the story!  Steve makes fine bows; my Northern Mist Classic is the quietest bow I own.
