Osage!
« on: June 03, 2021, 09:08:27 AM »
Been a long while since I've posted!

Getting ready to order a new bow and I'm thinking all Osage. Osage riser wood with Osage veneers. Would love to see some pictures if anyone has them, particularly of Osage under clear glass.

Thanks!

The older I get the more I like osage.  Been thinking about doing the same with a new bow.  Good thread.

I can’t help you with photos of limb veneers, but here’s an Osage riser.  It’s gotten noticeably darker just in the 2.5 years that I’ve owned it.

It’s a Liberty Classic, which I don’t think Allen makes anymore.  I think the Osage riser and yew limb makes a great looking combo and it’s probably the most quiet bow I own

You got a pic of the Osage and Yew together?

I love Osage, something about the way it ages with you makes it unique. I have a Blackcreek Siren (no longer made) that sits on my rack because I shoot Hill style exclusively, but I will be ordering one soon. This one is Osage with purpleheart accents.
