Footed shaft
« on: May 23, 2021, 05:19:50 PM »
I went to the Rochester trad shoot this weekend and quickly learned Terry and Barb have sold the shop. I can’t remember the persons who bought it at the moment. But my hunting friend joe howland said the new owners are a good fit for trad archery.  The new owners are based in MT. The sale of the shop happened Friday.  I promptly went shopping at Terry’s trailer and bought what I needed for supplies. my last in person purchase 🙁.  Now will have to buy all trad materials online cuz there aren’t any trad shops in MN  but at least the business will continue..

I have enjoyed doing business with Terry, and I wish him and Barb well. I hope to have a pleasant relationship with the new owners as well.

Anyone know who in MT bought the shop? Sorry for everyone in MN but it will be nice for those of us in MT.

The new owners are John and Codi Hanson from Toston.  Got to meet them at the Rochester shoot yesterday.  Great folks.  They’ll be at the LoLo shoot next weekend.

Yeah, we are going to miss the trailer at all of the shoots and banquet. No doubt they are going to be enjoying themselves.

Terry is with the new owners.

Yes it was always a pleasure to work with them at the FS, great people and a well deserved retirement. Gregg in you picture looks like Red is holding court or maybe a Busch Lite.

Yep, that is Red. He is having a final beer by the old trailer. I can't imagine the amount drinking and bsing done around that trailer.

Well I had heard as much.  Thanks Terry and Barb!  Welcome to The Footed Shaft for the new owners.  I suppose it will take a couple of extra days for shipping now that the shop has moved west a little bit.  Added bonus of the possibility of stopping in the new location when out and about on western trips.

Greg, you caught me red handed spending money. How much do you need to destroy that photo?  :biglaugh:
