Just got one of his TD recurves and want to know more about it, just need to find the man - anyone have any scoop? Nope, JP doesn't appear to be a member of Trad Gang ... yet!

JP is a member of the Sportsmans Club in Sigourney, IA. I don't know which bow you just bought but the one advertised on here recently was one JP made for me a few years ago when I still shot righthanded ie. bamboo limbs, dark zebra riser??, #45. He has been making a few bows for years. Both recurves and selfbows, mainly for friends and archers that have met him through there 3D shoots.

Thanx for the scoop, bowmac. The riser is very heavy and I'm suspecting it's ipe. Very smooth and quite fast. It's marked 34# @ 28" but my digital scale reads a tad over 47# (which is good!).
Mainly wanna know if the limb tips can handle low stretch modern string fiber.
