Camo face paint
« on: April 25, 2021, 01:11:15 PM »
I have not used camo face paint for almost 50 years. Want to try it again. Any brand out there that works and is easy to get off? Thanks

You are welcome...

There are other fine options however, Carbo Mask has fully met my needs.

Hardy Face Paint (latex based) and Nature’s Paint are the best that I’ve used

I ran out of Carbomask while hunting at the cabin a few years back. I made my own out of charcoal from the woodburner. It takes a little time to grind it up to where its fine and powdery. Add a little water and you're good to go. I tried vegatable oil and it has a better consisterncy but doesn't seem to stay on as good.

Good thread.  Some great information so far.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

HS (Hunter's Specialties) Camo Cream is the only one I use.  Lasts all day and still looks good.  Won't sweat off but comes off easily with soap & water.

Another fan of Carbo Mask here.  My sole issue with it is that the black color may get very "watery" during the off season.  Have not had that problem with their other colors and I tend to use black the most.

The DIY face paint is very easy to make in latex form. You likely have most of the ingredients in your kitchen. Best of all, you can make yours fragrance free. Google diy face paint.
