Wensel's Shrew?
« on: April 28, 2008, 08:45:00 PM »
I bought an older Shrew this weekend. It has been signed by Gene Wensel. It is left handed and has snake skins. The guy I bought it from said Gene shot a Bear with it for a Shrew ad. Do you think this is a true story? I thought Gene shoots right handed.

Gene has killed a couple nice bucks with Shrew longbows, bows but they were RH bows, not LH.

Gene is ambidextrous...he eats donuts with both hands. 8^).  However, he is a RH shooter.

You mean someone might have stretched the truth a little when selling a used bow! I can't believe it.  :goldtooth:

It is not a big deal if the story is true or not.
The person I bought it from I consider a friend. I just thought some might have knowledge or opinions.
It is a nice bow.

call Gene.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!
