any stories about marginal hits, ie- too far back etc?

seems the extra width might stand a better chance of hitting something on less than perfect shots.

I only have a few tree sharks and have shot a small pig and a dingo with them. I save them for smaller game like foxes, cats, dingoes etc where penetration won't be an issue and the extra width increases margin for error on the smaller vital regions and such game.

Good to know. I did bend one when I shot it into my fence that has 16 gauge wire in between the cross members. However, I was able to bend it back straight. That’s what gave me pause. Good news is, most whitetails I’ve cut into aren’t made of metal.
