Old bear quiver help

Has anyone figured out a way to soften the rubber arrow holders on older bear quivers that have gotten hard with age?

Been a long time since I had a spring arm but can’t help wonder if the grippers from one of our sponsors might interchange?

   Have you tried a Hairdryer or a heat gun ? That might give the rubber some flex or you could take it completely apart and try soaking in some heated vegetable oil possibly . Not super hot but let it soak in then pull out and let it sit out in the sun to dry some . Maybe the oil will soak in and soften it up some.
   Worth a try .

If nothing listed works. I’d go to an EFA you can get an strap on quiver riveted less than 60 bucks. Plus they are a sponsor. Love their quivers.

I have found that if they get hard and the arrows are a smidge loose then I spray the quiver with black plastic coat. It is the stuff you spray on the handles of your tools. It fills in all the nicks and crannys with plastic and builds up on the arrow holders so they grip better. Best thing is that it really quiets the quiver down. Good luck.

I got a small can of clear flex seal, may try it on one of my ole Bears!

I was told if you bring a pot of water to a boil , put just the grippers in the pot for around 10 minutes. Take them out and use a brush and soapy water on them. Not sure if that will help you or not.
