I'm going to be tickled if I even get out.

My job will have me guiding other folks for deer, pigs, and exotics. I hope to help each hunter be successful. In the in between time, I will be in a stand every chance I can, each time with the hope to take one more deer with a trad bow. Hopefully, in there somewhere, I’ll get a chance to take a pretty nice (at least to me) buck!

Good luck to all the gang this season!

I'm changing my employment situation soon so I will have time to hunt this fall. My only expectation is to get out more and as much as I can without causing a divorce.  :)

More selfbow Glory. . . . . Everyday I grab that Hedge in my hand and take that long hike into that Cambodia like tangle where those big boys reside is the day you may get one of those one of two good opportunities of the season. Going head to head with a specific buck you have been keeping track of is a game all of its own inside the pastime of hunting. When you get in close with a SB there's nothing like it.

I didn’t get to hunt much last year.
This year I expect total carnage as any legal deer is in danger!  :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

This is my year. New land and new spots. I’ve hunted Louisiana. And taken nothing but squirrel. Ready to take my first big game with a bow. This is my year! I now live in TN and am going to some scouting this month.

Noticed that. Let me know if you want to get together to shoot. Been wanting to do some self bows also.

Plan on soaking it all up as much as I can. Everything from the cocoon on the side of a tree to the short lived fall colors to the smell of fresh fallen snow. Love every minute of it. Deer wise it doesn’t matter much to me. I’d be thrilled with a couple does. We’ll see how it goes!
