Here you go, Jason. 1/8 inch roll pin by 1 1/4 inches. 1 inch too short and they don't catch as well in the grass/dirt to stop them, 1 1/2 inch roll pins bend or break more often. If you shoot around rocks you'll break off a side once in a while,  just tap in a new pin.  I drill them on the drill press, takes longer to find the right bit, for me, in my toolbox than to make one. They REALLY thump small game, too.

So, assuming this might not be such a good idea for woodies as you re drilling into the taper...

A mate and I have been playing with the 200 grain Ace Super Express broadheads, and we really like them, so we've bit the bullet so to speak and ordered 2 dozen 200 grain broadheads, 2 dozen 200 grain field points, and 2 dozen 200 grain Hex blunts. A dozen of each for both of us. We'll split the shipping, it sure helps.

So I'll be using the 200 grain glue-on Hex Blunts again soon

Great blunt

Ace Hex heads showed up and I'm pleased with the consistency; 199.6-200.2 grains.  Two at both ends and a 199.8 and 200.0.  That is very tight tolerance.  Can't wait to give them a go.

I've been a Judo guy for years.... However! The Ace Hex Heads, are DEVASTATING on game!!!

The Judos tend to punch through, and the spring arms tend to drag the insides outside.... :o

3Rivers sells a J grip arrow holder that goes up into the foam of my bow quivers, and it has a little magnet in it to hold the tip of the Judo point. Carries my Judo as quiet as a mouse!! I've carried 3 broadheads and a Judo for years.
This year, it's gonna be 3 135gr Zwickey Deltas, and a 135gr Zwickey Judo...  :archer:
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

May The Great Spirit Guide Your Arrows..... Happy Hunting!!!

I don't hunt small game, so I use judo points to avoid losing arrows in the brush when roving.

I'm a big Judo fan, I spend hours and hours wondering through the badlands shooting them at whatever I see, but I'm with Terry in that I use broadheads of one kind or another for small game. Judo's just make a mess of things.

Judo's if stump shooting in real grassy areas.

Ace Hex heads or the VPA SGT's if hunting small game or most stump shooting around home here in the woods.

Rubber blunts if "stump shooting" out west in real rocky areas.

I have some military ammo packing foam that I make "inexpensive" targets from.  Look forward to running some of these blunts through the foam.

VPA SGT 250 grain heads look gnarly, consistent weight 251.6, 251.8, 252.  Look to be good small game head, testing will tell.

I’ve been using the same VPA 175 & 250 Grain Small Game Thumpers for years and they are really nice… :campfire:
