Thanks for sharing! What an awesome, beautiful animal.  To get a second shot opportunity on such an animal is incredible. That guy had some real perseverance and dedication! Well done!👍👍

Incredible buck!  I have to say, I muted, and then fast forwarded though the "celebration" portion of the video.  It may be the reason the buck ran 150+ yards.  I did enjoy the rest.

Beautiful animal and enjoyed the narrative, but I agree - when he started the theatrics in the stand I was thinking "so much for letting 'em bed down and expire peacefully..." I believe he may have added some yards to the trailing and searching.
Congrats to him on a wonderful trophy!

An incredible buck. Great job scouting him and sticking with your plan. Any deer with a stick bow is an accomplishment, and that one is amazing.

Great looking buck, Bryant. He is almost scary big. Congratulations, you are the man .  :archer2:

I couldn't help but notice that nice quiver on your bow. How has it performed for you? Looks for all the world like an EFA Cochise. :clapper

Good hunting!

thats not me, 2 fletch. i just shared the video. thought it was pretty good. i cant say i wouldnt give a couple whoops after shooting a real nice buck like that, but i do think i would wait till i was walking up on him dead,  i did whoop on my first 12 pointer though.

It's a nice deer.  With any weapon.   Took some suppression of an adrenaline rush to stay calm for that shot.   But yeah, the celebration in the stand is not what I'd do.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Agree with what's been said so far.  Very nice deer.  But to paraphrase Vince Lombardi, when you make a touchdown, act like you've been there before.

Agreed, I’ve been waiting on his video,  being aware of when and where it was killed. I watched it when it first came out the other day. He hunted hard and was rewarded for his effort. But the celebration was a bit much and like others said, I’m sure added to the distance he travelled.

Yes the celebration was a bit much but this guy has a lot of history with this buck and the footage of it fighting and seeing it and getting a second shot is understandably over the top exciting for him. Congrats on not giving up and getting him sir!  :clapper: :notworthy:

Good hunt, but the heavyweight bout between those two bruisers caught on trail cam was my favorite part!
