Picked up two Ben Pearson Colts 7070 and 707 . 45 and 47 pound @28 . 62 inch . I set up both the same 8 inch brace height . 3/8 inch nock height . I made a little bump on arrow shelf with tooth pick and covered with soft Velcro so I can shoot off shelf .I shoot three under . My question is did I set up correct can I shoot off shelf and did I set up nock and brace height correct for 3 fingers under . What weight arrow should I use . I did shoot couple dozen arrows . Gold tips 30 inch traditional 500 carbons 520 grains and full length 32 inch Beman ics 500 about 620 grains . They seem to hitting left 5 inches with bemans a little better with gold tips . arrow flight looked good . I am right hand shooter 29 draw length . Could be me but they consistent. These are First Ben Pearsons I have ever owned so do not know much about them . Any help greatly appreciated . Really like these bows plan on hunting with them soon .

They are probably not cut as far as center so your first few arrows will be left. If they are flying straight then the computer on top of your shoulders will adjust.

I agree 90 percent me on the left arrow shot could be a little stiff spine . Don't know to much about the bow set up looking for advice On the Bow . brace height. 3 fingers under nock height .Arrows the Bow likes . It will save me some time . Any help from someone that has owned and used one of these bows. Pros and Cons .
Thank You

I've had a couple Colts over the years and one that needs a MAJOR rehab over the winter. 8" brace should work fine, you might be able to go a little lower depending on your form. Mine were\ are mid 40's but I draw 27" and found .600s best. I also shoot 3under and use 5/8" nock height. Good luck, they're kinda an underrated bow.

Thank You for the tips . I am restoring one now . Bow has some scratches and orange peel on handle . I radius the riser and sanded the whole bow . Deciding on stain or just natural spar urethane .Limbs I may try the limbsations in snake skin or just clear coat them .Both bows for 50s years old are in good shape just cosmetics. Fun winter projects .
Thanks again
